The osmanthus (false holly) hedge along the driveway is used primarily as a screen, so is pruned sparingly a few times a year.

The jasmine vines around the gate and front door require regular thinning and detangling.

A truly impressive array of perennials are found throughout, including anemones, hostas, heucheras, poet's laurel, peonies, daylilies, lenten roses, autumn ferns, and more!

Beautiful mature oaks produce a large volume of leaves, which are redistributed to natural areas.
